Wow.

The title says it all for what happened today.

So I went for a walk with my girlfriend around 4:00 and Jesus Christ was it hot out.  It was like Satan's ass crack outside.  We parted around 6:00, so then I headed to Spurlie's house for the upcoming events...FILMING *dun dun dunnn*

I'll just skip ahead to when we started filming.  Anthony and Kathleen (our 'Behind the Scenes' person) pulled in and we went to Pierson Park to film (the same place in Vlog 1).  It took awhile to get Vlog 5 recorded, but it came out well.  Plus we got some lulzy shots for Behind the Scenes, and so we finished with minimal difficulty.  Although when we were filming there was this girl walking around the "set" a lot.  We had no idea who she was, and she just kept on looking over at us.  I think it was Anthony.  Chicks dig the suit.

We had to wait for it to be dark for Vlog 6, so we all went to a playground that's nearby me and Slifer's house.  We just hung around there playing on the playground and we called Russell (close friend and Kathleen's boyfriend) to come join us for playing AND filming! :D  He came by and we had some fun until shit went down for filming...VLOG 6.

Vlog 6 is honest-to-God my favorite Vlog at the moment.  It was just perfect, absolutely perfect.  Everyone's acting was superb, the Slenderman appearances were awesome, and the camerawork was great.  I didn't get to be with the crew when they filmed the last 2 scenes, but I'm sure they're going to come out great.

We're gonna start editing them soon, so they should be out soon! :D

Also check out this awesome Cage the Elephant song Spurlie showed me.  I've been listening to this song while typing up this whole damn post.  "Right Before My Eyes" - Cage the Elephant

Blog Post #3 (How original)

So today was a successful day for filming.  We were supposed to start at 3:00 PM (EST!) but there were several problems...Many of them involving car accidents surprisingly.  So Mike was the first one there, and I showed up about 45 minutes or so late since I walked there.  Anthony, Spurlie, and Henry made it about 10 or so minutes after.  We were setting up filming when Carlton came at the normal time, which is when I would have wished to be nearly done with Vlog 3.  So we tried to film, but we had many many complications.  So we just decided to take a break with the few clips we had.

After that break, it was smooth sailing.  We had some good shots, although it wasn't really how I expected.  Then again, this vlog wasn't really important besides introducing Carlton, which was done great (and hilariously).

What can I say about Vlog 4?  Wow.  Just wow.  It came out pretty damn great.  It was altered heavily, but wow.  I'm glad with the way this one came out rather than the original idea.  I can't wait to see this one fully edited and put onto Youtube, just wow.  Anthony was terrifying.

After filming, we decided to celebrate by going to McDonalds (plus Carlton was starving).  Carlton tried a McGangBang for the first time (I forgot the ingredients sadly :/ ) and it was quite lulzy.  Anthony had one too, although he's had one before so it doesn't matter!  I had large fries, because I'm cool like that.

So hopefully I can get the gang together to film Vlogs 5 and 6 very soon.  I like this streak of making some quality footage with them.  I think I picked out the perfect team for this series.

Double the Up, double the Date!

I apologize for not posting yesterday, I've been having laptop issues for the past month of two.  So I've planned to do the impossible; I'll have two days worth of updates into one!

Oh yeah, I went there.

So yesterday July 5, 2011 was pretty cool.  In the early morning I was working on the script for The Importance of Teamwork 2, the sequel to my AP English multimedia project, where we had to teach a lesson to the class, called The Importance of Teamwork.

It was the typical summer day; watch Scrubs on Netflix for the majority of the day.  Although since it was a Tuesday, I had to go to guitar lessons.  I learned how to play "Dear Bobbie" by Yellowcard.  It's pretty simple since it's mostly basic chords.

Some good news that day was that my girlfriend came home from her vacation, so we took a walk since we haven't seen each other in a week or two.  'Twas pretty good.  She got me a belt buckle that's a Les Paul guitar, and I love it.

After that I watched Kill Bill Volume 1 for the first time ever and...well...Holy.  Shit.  That movie was friggen awesome.  Everything about it was cool; the story, the action, the animated scenes, the soundtrack, the humor.  Excellent, just excellent.

SO NOW LET'S MOVE ONTO DAY 2!

So I had a pretty chill Bro Day with Spurlie.  We watched a little bit of Trigun (one episode) and then I played some Paper Mario on the Virtual Console while he played The Wiki Game.

After that I had my friend Kyle over to start some jamming.  He played the guitar and I played the drums, and we were pretty damn awesome, not to toot my own horn of course.

And now I sit here, writing all of this stuff down as I watch Scrubs once again.  Seasons 5 and 6 kick ass, just letting you all know.

What's going on tomorrow?  Well at around 3:00 PM we (as in me, Spurlie, Mike, Carlton, Anthony, and Henry) will be filming Vlogs 3 and 4 for the NewKidVlog (completely unknown at the moment).  I'll post how the filming goes guys!  In the meantime, peace out, have a good night!
